Every classroom at Means Elementary has a Bully Free Pledge posted in it. It is our main priority for our students to feel safe at all times while they are in our care. Bullying is not tolerated at Means and is taken very seriously. If anyone is being bullied or sees someone being bullied, an adult should be advised immediately so that the proper actions are taken. Bullying is a topic that is taught year round while in character education classes with the counselor. Not only are students taught that an adult should be told if bullying is happening, but they are also taught, first and foremost, to be a friend and include others at all times. There is no room for hate at Means Elementary.
